Parental Involvement


 

  

Parental Involvement:
  •      Provide snack once during the year.
  •        Do Kitchen Clean Up (3-4 times/semester) unless volunteering in another capacity (such as Bible       teacher or table parent).
  •     Support your child ~ attend special family events (opening and closing days) and bring your child to worship on singing days!

 

Parent of Youth Club students are requested to be involved in the ways listed above. There are several reasons for this. Not only does it take many hands to make a program like Youth Club be successful, but your involvement shows your children that their Christian education is important to you. Working and worshiping together further strengthens our ties as children of God.


 Kitchen Clean Up Checklist
1. Wash pots and pans too large for dishwasher.
2. Refill serving dishes if needed; check with Vickie.
3. Serve dessert if needed; check with Vickie.
4. Scrape and rinse dishes, run through dishwasher. Dry and put away all cooking, serving, and eating dishes.
5. Wipe all kitchen counters and the drink table in the dining room.
6. Wipe sinks and stove.
7. Take bags of garbage out to the Gibson Street curb. Tomorrow is trash pick up!
8. Someone please take home dish towels to wash and return by next Wednesday. (Don’t leave us towelless!)
