Children's Sunday School


At the United Church, Sunday school is for everyone! Classes for children and adults meet between the worship services from 9:45 to 10:45, September through May. Check the calendar for special Sundays.

Rally Day!

Sunday, September 12

  • 9:45   Rally Breakfast

                 Enjoy muffin and coffee while fellowshipping with friends

                 Register for Youth Club (Gr. 2-8)
 

  • 10:30 Sunday School Open House

           Parents, bring your children to visit classrooms and meet your teachers.

                         

  • 11:00 Special Service of Worship

        Teacher Dedication ~ We bring ourselves before the Lord to ask His     

             blessing on our new Sunday school year.



Children’s Sunday school for ages 2 through high school meets 9:45-10:45, September through May. Nursery care is offered during the Sunday school hour for those too young to attend Sunday school so that their parents may attend Adult classes or help in the children’s Sunday school program.

          begins September 19    9:45 ~ 10:45

  • Ages 2 & 3 = FaithWeaver Bible Curriculum
  • Ages 4 – 6th grade = Moses Madness (God is Faithful!!!)    
  •  Interactive Study of Moses from the book of Exodus
  • Grades 7 = Communicants Class with Rev. Jim Kerr for Fall
  • Grade 8 = FaithWeaver Bible Curriculum
  • High School = Year of the Bible
  • Learning to Worship class =  3rd grade during 11:00 worship (CT)

Missionaries Adopted here!
Our Sunday school classes have adopted missionaries from around the world to support in prayer and, perhaps, correspondence. We chose from information packets that Jill Snyder provided us on many missionaries from the American Baptist and Presbyterian missions. Here is a listing of this year’s classes and their missionaries:

1st grade class - Patti and Tim Long Mexico border
2nd grade class - Chuck and Ruth Fox Thailand
3rd grade class - Mark Adams Mexican border
4th grade class - Carlo, Myra Bonilla & family Spain in March 2010
5th- 6th grade class – Kathleen Griffin Argentina
7th 8th grade class - The Niles Family Democratic Republic of Congo
High School class – Debbie and Jim Kelsey Italy – immigrant churches
